Karen Healey Stables Successful at Showpark Summer Classic

Del Mar, CA- August 29- The hunters and equitation riders of Karen Healey Stables completely dominated the competition at yet another show. This time, it was at the Showpark Summer Classic on August 24-28, 2005.

Continuing their tradition of multiple championships at one show, Touchstone and rider Jenny Karazissis of Calabasas, CA, were once again honored with the tricolor ribbon in the Second Year Green and Regular Working Hunter divisions. The pair won seven out of ten classes for owner LRW Farm and was second in the other three classes.

Another LRW Farm entry, Country Grammar and Mary Ann Weisberg-Perry of Burbank, CA, also finished with the championship in the Amateur-Owner 36 & Over division. They won four out of five classes and were third in the remaining class. Country Grammar and Weisberg-Perry also won the Amateur-Owner Hunter Classic.

It was a big weekend for equitation finals as well. Lauren Hester of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, won the CPHA Foundation 21 & Under Championship on Doon Frech�s Timeless. In the same class, Torie Immel placed fourth, and Veronica Tracy finished in eleventh place.

In the CPHA Foundation 22 and Over Championship, Kristi Siam was fifth. Michelle Morris also picked up a fifth place ribbon in the CPHA Foundation 14 & Under Championship.

The team from Karen Healey Stables will stay in Del Mar for their next competition, the Showpark All Seasons Summer Tournament on August 31- September 4, 2005.
